The Economic Development Lab bridges economic development and technological advancement research. We present Economic Development Index (EDI) and track economic development across countries and borders in four continents. This index is new and it reflects development in the global context. Economic development is a complex and dynamic process. There is no common definition for the term. We define economic development as a qualitative, positive and inclusive change in an economy aimed at the reproduction of the economy.
